Kari Lake, a former gubernatorial candidate for Arizona, utilized the X platform (previously referred to as Twitter) to express her perspective on the number of genders. This statement followed her visit to the Iowa State Fair last week, where she campaigned for former President Donald Trump and criticized "woke" ideology.
"Spend a little time on a farm and you will learn very quickly that there are only two genders," Lake tweeted.
In her endorsement of Trump, Lake utilized the chance to engage with undecided voters at the Iowa State Fair, aiming to sway their votes in his favor. Meanwhile, Trump himself attended the fair on Aug. 12, as did his opponents Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley, dedicating a few hours to his campaign efforts, according to the Daily Mail.
"I just witnessed @KariLake convince two registered Independents in Iowa to switch their voter registration to Republican so that they can caucus for President Trump," political consultant Colton Duncan tweeted.
Lake didn't miss the chance to critique "woke" ideology while milking a cow.
"You know there's only two genders, right?" Lake said to the crowd, according to the Daily Mail. "There's only two genders and they know that in Iowa. I challenge the New York Times reporter and the Washington Post reporter to try to milk a cow and then try to milk a bull and see how that goes."
"President Trump received the warmest welcome in the history of the Iowa State Fair as thousands of patriots, as far as the eye can see, gathered together to greet him," Lake tweeted, sharing a video of thousands of people gathered around Trump. "This is unlike anything the world has ever seen before."
Just last week, Lake called on other Republican candidates for president to drop out of the race and endorse him, emphasizing the need for a collective effort. Despite his recent indictments, Trump still maintains a leading position in the GOP primary race. He maintains his dominance across all polls, with the latest surveys indicating that he currently has 59% of support from Republican primary voters, according to the Washington Examiner.
