The Center for Arizona Policy utilized the X platform, previously referred to as Twitter, to emphasize the significance of including the perspectives of "detransitioners" in the continuing discourse surrounding the topic of "transgender" issues. This message followed a recent congressional hearing held last month, focusing on the subject of "gender-affirming care."

"Sexual abuse victims forced to share locker rooms and showers with men should not be told they need "reeducation;" they need privacy and safety," the Center tweeted out. "And the transgender debate cannot be had without hearing from a growing population of detransitioners."

During the congressional hearing held last month, which delved into the persistent discussion surrounding "gender-affirming care" for minors, the lineup of speakers included many individuals on both sides. Among them was Paula Scanlan, a former swimmer for UPenn who recounted instances of having to change and be exposed to a biologically male teammate, Dr. Jennifer Bauwens, a specialist in psychological trauma, Chloe Cole, who has gone through "detransitioning" and now advocates against "gender transitioning" for minors, alongside numerous proponents of "gender-affirming" care for minors, according to World Opinions.

Nineteen-year-old Chloe Cole provided testimony during the congressional hearing held last month. Cole embarked on treatments, including puberty blockers and hormones, for what was believed to be "gender dysphoria" at the tender age of 12. By the time she turned fifteen, she had undergone a double mastectomy. Now, Cole stands as an advocate opposing "gender-affirming" care for minors and has initiated legal action against the doctors who prescribed her hormones and conducted the mastectomy. She contends that, back then, she would have preferred therapy over being persuaded to alter her body by the adults involved, according to Daily Mail.

Dedicated to the "foundational values of life, marriage and family, and religious freedom," the Center for Arizona Policy is an entity with a clear mission. This organization fervently supports parental rights and the protection of unborn lives. Leading the group is Cathi Herrod as President, while Chris St. John holds the position of Vice President of Advancement, according to the Center for AZ Policy.
