PHOENIX -Secretary of State Adrian Fontes announced today that registration for all new business partnerships, including those in Arizona and out-of-state, is now available via a single web portal integrating services across state government.

Called “Business One Stop,” this online resource is a collaboration among different state agencies under the guidance of the Arizona Department of Administration. Registrations for new businesses that were previously submitted by hand delivery, by mail, and e-mail can now be submitted in minutes and processed in seconds via the Business One Stop website.

“Arizona is a national leader in attracting new investment and business opportunities,” Secretary Fontes said. “Today, our state government is building online systems to match the economic vitality of our growing real estate, investment, and small business sectors. Through this unique intra-agency effort, we are taking the necessary steps to integrate services and provide a single, easy to use, and efficient way to open for business in Arizona.”

Services available on Business One Stop now include new registrations for in-state and out-of-state Limited Partnerships (LPs), Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) and Limited Liability Limited Partnerships (LLLPs). Future SOS services on tap for integration into the web portal include partnership amendments, and notary applications.

Since the Secretary of State’s office started making its services available on Business One Stop, more than over 2,000 transactions have been successfully completed using the online platform.

This modernization effort has allowed for an estimated 350 hours of staff time to be directed to other important tasks—a number that is expected to increase as more SOS services come online.
