Chandler, Arizona - Mayor Kevin Hartke and the Chandler City Council are pleased to announce the upcoming annual State of the City event. This year's event, with the theme "what brings people together," will be held on Thursday, February 15th, at the Chandler Center for the Arts.

The State of the City event aims to engage the community and provide an opportunity for residents to learn about the city's accomplishments over the past year. Mayor Hartke will deliver an address highlighting Chandler's successes and taking attendees on a "gameboard adventure" to showcase the city's achievements.

The evening will commence with a captivating Japanese Taiko Drumming performance by Fushicho Daiko. Following this exciting performance, Mayor Hartke will take the stage to share his insights on Chandler's progress. The event promises to be an informative and entertaining experience for all attendees.

To enhance the overall experience, the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for the Lobby Experience. This pre-event reception will feature family games and free food samples from local vendors such as Minburi Thai, Poppin' Love, and Taqueria El Sonorense. It will be a time for attendees to mingle, enjoy delicious food, and engage in various activities before the program begins.

The State of the City event is open to the public, and admission is free. However, RSVPs are encouraged to ensure adequate seating. Interested individuals can RSVP online at the State of the City website. For any additional questions regarding the event, please contact the Mayor & Council Office at 480-782-2200.

This annual event provides an excellent opportunity for Chandler residents to gain a deeper understanding of their city's progress and accomplishments.
