Catholic Vote President Brian Burch said the “Democratic Party wants unlimited, taxpayer funded, abortion up until the moment of birth,” even though very few voters agree with that degree of abortion freedom.

"Let us be clear about the choice facing voters this year: The Democratic Party wants unlimited, taxpayer funded, abortion up until the moment of birth,” Burch told the Grand Canyon Times. “Only a small percentage of radicals want that. A majority wants restrictions. For example, there is large support for what are called ‘heartbeat’ bills, that prohibit abortions after the detection of a heartbeat. Many are also against abortion in cases where the baby is old enough to feel pain. Democrats oppose any limits."

The Arizona Supreme Court recently issued a ruling that reinstated a law from the 1800s that restricts all abortions except in the case of a medical emergency for the mother.

The ban expected to be repealed after the state house voted 32-28 to rescind it, according to ABC news. The bill is expected to pass in the senate and be signed into law by the state's Democrat governor. The bill passed the house with the help of three Republicans, with two Republicans expected to support the measure in the state senate.

“The Democrats are the radicals on this because they're willing to have abortions in the seventh, eighth, ninth month,” former President Donald Trump said in a recent Truth Social post. “We’re talking about the execution of a baby. And you can say what you want, but that's extreme and that's radical.”

Madison, Wisconsin-based Catholic Vote is an advocacy organization that wants to “inspire every Catholic in America to live out the truths of our faith in public life,” according to the group’s website. Founded in 2008, its president is Brian Burch.
