The president of the League of American Workers (LAW) said the presidential election in Arizona is going to be determined by voter turnout by American workers.

"My organization has been doing polls all year long, but the only poll that matters is Election Day,” Steve Cortes, president and founder of LAW, told Grand Canyon Times. “And in battleground states like Arizona, this is going to come down to voter turnout.”

“If American workers who are sick of higher grocery costs, higher housing costs, and illegal aliens taking their jobs turnout in Arizona, Donald Trump is going to win this race,” Cortes said.

Vice President Kamala Harris (D) and former President Donald Trump (R) are tied in Arizona in the 2024 race for the White House, according to the latest poll of Arizona voters released by TechnoMetrica.

A September poll by American Greatness showed Trump and Harris both with 48% of likely voters in the state, with leaning voters included and the poll conducted after Robert F. Kennedy suspended his campaign and endorsed Trump, making the race effectively a two-person race.

Among the unsure, 17% of Arizona voters said they were still deciding, while 18% said the race is “too close to call" in the state.

55% of voters said the economy and immigration are their top two issues. Trump leads the blue collar sub-group by 3.5%, while Harris leads the demographic with "at least some college" by 6%. Trump also has increased his favor with Hispanic voters in the state, with 41% of the demographic supporting him.

Regarding the economy, Arizona voters prefer Trump over Harris 59% to 32%, and 52% of voters would trust Trump over Harris to improve national security, while 41% of voters would trust Harris over Trump.

In regards to the border, 56% of voters said they prefer Trump rather than Harris be in charge of immigration, while 34% said they would before Harris over Trump.

The American Greatness/TIPP survey was conducted online between September 3 to September 5 among 949 registered Arizona voters who were likely to vote in the November election.
