The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) has announced the digitization of historical records from as far back as 1918, which are now accessible to the public online. This project was supported by a $132,355 grant from the National Archives’ National Historical Publications & Records Commission.

These documents, including Opinions and Orders filed with the ACC in the early 1900s, can be accessed via the ACC’s eDocket at https://edocket.azcc.gov/. Users can search for these records using Decision numbers, company names, and date ranges. Some fragile documents remain undigitized but may still be available for viewing through Docket Control assistance at kmecca@azcc.gov.

Since the modernization project commenced in late 2023, more than 81,000 records have been processed by commission staff. These digital images are integrated into eDocket and added manually to ACC's online database.

Established in 1912 by the State Constitution, the Arizona Corporation Commission aims to ensure safe utility services, support economic growth by aiding local entrepreneurs, modernize government operations, and protect citizens through ethical securities market enforcement.

Further information on preserving historical records is available at https://www.archives.gov/nhprc.
