As a second round of stimulus relief is being considered in Congress, some members are expressing their displeasure.
The $900 billion stimulus bill passed in the House on Monday.
It would provide a $600 check to most Americans.
The Trump administration is requesting Congress increase the size of the stimulus checks to $2,000.
U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) said he is ready to reopen the economy rather than write checks.
“The best way to stimulate the American economy is to REOPEN THE ECONOMY. Allow free people to make their own decisions, assess their own risks. All year, Congress has incentivized state & local governments to restrict freedoms. We are bankrupting our grandchildren’s futures!” Biggs said in a tweet.
