Blake Masters is Right on Election Integrity

The U.S. Senate election in Arizona is one of the few key races that will determine the majority in the Senate this fall. With the August 2 primary quickly approaching, it appears that businessman and Tucson native Blake Masters will be the Republican nominee facing Mark Kelly in the fall.

Masters has been unapologetically America First from the day he announced in July of 2021. He’s been outspoken on our broken immigration system, the need to build a border wall, the need to fight Critical Race theory and defend life and our 2A rights.

But more than any of his competitors, Masters has also been unapologetic in calling out voter fraud as it occurred in 2020, particularly in Arizona. This spring, Masters attended an election integrity event in Chandler featuring over 100 attendees. While other candidates were invited, the most noticeable absence was Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s. President Donald Trump called into the event from Mar-a-Lago to speak to those in attendance, where he singled out Masters for praise.

“I just want to thank you all, you’re an incredible group,” the popular former president said. “I heard Blake was the person that showed up and I want to thank Blake.”

President Trump also wasted no time in calling out Brnovich, also a candidate for the Senate seat, for failing his duties as attorney general by not fighting against voter fraud in Maricopa County and elsewhere in the state. Having previously labeled Brnovich as “lackluster,” the president said that Brnovich “found all sorts of things, but he didn’t want to do anything about it.”

These comments followed up on Trump’s earlier statement denouncing Brnovich’s lack of action on voter fraud. “Attorney General Brnovich of Arizona was given massive information on the fraud and so-called ‘irregularities’ that took place in the 2020 Presidential Election,” the president pointed out. “Many people said that he would do nothing about it because that just seems to be the way he is. He wants to be politically correct. Because of the amount of time that it took him to do the report, which was endless, his poll numbers have been rapidly sinking.”

What has become even more apparent this summer is that, despite many in the corporate media dismissing questions about the 2020 Presidential elections, there is more and more proof that those elections were extremely questionable. The Wisconsin Supreme Court recently ruled that the unsecured ballot drop boxes were illegal under Wisconsin law, calling into question the results in that key state.

There were 120 of those unsecured ballot drops boxes in Arizona in 2020. But the sitting Attorney General has refused to address the ballot drop box issue in a state that was won by just over 10,000 votes. As Masters has highlighted the irregularities in 2020 with multiple public statements, Brnovich’s record of silence and inaction on the issue has been brought into the spotlight more than ever before and the results speak for themselves. Brnovich has collapsed in the polls, going from frontrunner to now third in the most recent polls.

There could not be a more perfect contrast between Masters’ bold promises on election integrity and Brnovich’s absolute failure to stop voter fraud despite being in a position to actually do something about it. Instead, Brnovich repeatedly insisted that there was no fraud and that Biden won legitimately, joining Governor Doug Ducey and Secretary of State Katie Hobbs in certifying the electoral results.

Arizona deserves a nominee for the Senate who is not only aware of the problem, but is prepared to actually use the office to fight for free and fair elections in this country.
