Rep. Andy Biggs called for President Joe Biden to take action and address the current situation at the Arizona border, where thousands are crossing at the Tohono O'odham Reservation. Biggs claimed that thousands more migrants might be making their way to the border.

"7,000+ illegal aliens have formed a caravan in Mexico and are heading to our southern border right now. It's time for the Biden Administration to stop playing games. Build our wall. Enforce our laws. Secure our border.", said Andy Biggs.

The Tohono O'Odham Nation, Arizona's second-largest reservation, is located approximately 90 miles southwest of Tucson. It houses the smallest port of entry in Arizona, where Border Patrol has apprehended 3,000 people since last Friday. Border Patrol is conducting multiple trips daily due to the increasing number of migrants who are improvising shelters from available materials in an effort to protect themselves from the sun, as reported by KVOA.

There is growing concern among lawmakers about key issues such as human and drug smuggling and the increasing influence of cartels in Southern Arizona due to ongoing border situation. The rising incidence of drug trafficking, particularly Fentanyl - which is 50 times more potent than heroin and 100 times stronger than morphine - has raised alarm bells within law enforcement agencies like U.S Customs and Border Protection (CBP). CBP currently uses tools like X-ray scanning technology, drug-sniffing dogs, and detectives to detect and confiscate these drugs according to ABC.

"The invasion is getting worse," said Ben Bergquam, host of “Law & Border “on X platform."It all appears to be coordinated in an effort to push the crossings to areas where they think the cameras can’t get there thereby preventing Americans from seeing it and distracting from drugs being smuggled just a few hundred feet away."

Arizona lawmakers have also voiced concerns related to reports about a potentially large number of migrants heading towards the border. These migrants, possibly numbering up to 5,000 and originating from countries including Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala among others are allegedly moving towards the border as reported by Reuters.

"This is an incredibly horrific situation and not a peep or move from Governor Katie Hobbs," said Arizona Rep. Austin Smith, as per X platform. "Hobbs is putting the profits of human smugglers above the safety of Arizonans and these individuals by doing absolutely nothing to stop the unrestrained, unvetted stream of illegals into this country. Shame on you, Katie and Joe Biden. Impeachable offenses in my opinion."
