An upcoming election deadline is approaching quickly in Arizona. The deadline to make a request for ballot-by-mail takes place next week on Oct. 25.

The deadline for requesting a mail-in ballot is typically well in advance of election day. This time frame gives election officials sufficient time to process requests and mail out the ballots, and it allows voters enough time to complete and return them.

The Arizona Secretary of State Elections Division is a nonpartisan government agency responsible for overseeing all aspects of state elections. It also provides training and support to county election officials and works to ensure that all Arizonans have access to fair and secure elections.
