In Phoenix, Arizona, President Warren Petersen has announced changes to the standing committee chairmanships for the Fifty-sixth Legislature, Second Regular Session. This follows the resignation of Senator Steve Kaiser and the appointment of Senator Shawnna Bolick. The adjustments aim to enhance efficiency and utilize member expertise effectively within each committee.
President Petersen also revealed that the Senate Committee on Commerce will be dissolved. Future bills related to commerce will be redirected to other committees.
The updated list of committee chairpersons includes:
