Senator Frank Carroll has voiced opposition to a letter from 16 Democrat Arizona state lawmakers addressed to President Biden, advocating for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The senator criticized the call for a ceasefire, arguing that it would only benefit Hamas, which he described as "an evil and vile terrorist organization."

Carroll highlighted the recent attacks attributed to Hamas, stating they were responsible for "penetrating 30 Israeli communities" and "brutally murdering 1,400 people," including women and children. He emphasized that Hamas has not shown any intention of changing its stance towards Israel and continues to pose a threat.

The senator argued against pausing military actions, suggesting it would allow Hamas time to regroup. "Now is not the time to pause and give Hamas more opportunities to regroup and establish further attacks," Carroll stated. He stressed the need for decisive action: "It is time, however, to eliminate them to ensure this wicked and racist terror group never attacks innocent lives again."

Carroll remains committed to supporting a strong relationship between the U.S. and Israel. He urged Arizona citizens to remain vigilant in their communities and continue praying for Israel's safety.
