The Arizona Department of Education has launched a new online certification system aimed at improving the efficiency and accessibility for educators seeking certification in the state. The system went live on Monday and has been described by initial users as easier and faster than its predecessor.
State school Superintendent Tom Horne emphasized the department's commitment to reducing bureaucratic obstacles for aspiring educators. "The Arizona Department of Education is a service organization, and I am dedicated to cutting red tape and eliminating barriers to those who want to become educators," Horne stated. He added that the streamlined online system simplifies the process for both current educators and newcomers, facilitating access to necessary documents.
The system provides a seamless platform for submitting applications, tracking their progress, and receiving updates in real-time. Educators can now manage their certification processes with greater ease through this intuitive method.
To access the new system, users must have an ADE Connect account. Those who have previously logged into the online application system will find that their existing username and password remain unchanged.
