Last year, the Arizona Lottery experienced significant achievements and community engagement, as highlighted by Alec Thomson, Executive Director of the Arizona Lottery. In 2024, players in Arizona won over $973 million in prizes, with notable wins including an $11.9 million jackpot ticket in Marana and a $7.8 million win in Mesa.

The organization introduced 56 new games last year, such as Scratchers and Instant Tab games, aiming to enhance player experience. The Lotería Grande game was a standout addition, celebrating Hispanic traditions and Arizona's culture.

Promotions like "Arizona Adventure 2.0" and "Caliente Cash" were part of efforts to connect with players through experiential rewards. The Players Club also saw growth, offering members exclusive promotions and digital rewards.

Community involvement remained a priority for the Arizona Lottery in 2024. They increased their presence at local events through ticket van appearances and street teams. Additionally, they supported various programs benefiting education, healthcare, environmental preservation, and economic development across the state.

Partnerships included initiatives with Local First Arizona to support Black-owned businesses and Northern Arizona University for educational programs. Other collaborations focused on providing resources for unhoused individuals and fostering sustainable housing projects.

As the lottery reflects on its progress from 2024, plans are underway to expand offerings and deepen community partnerships in 2025.
