The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) has introduced the Public Health Data Portal, a new platform aimed at centralizing the agency's data. This initiative is expected to enhance access to vital public health information for residents.

Coinciding with the release of its 2024 annual reports, ADHS's portal includes updates such as the Baby Name Report, Arizona Diabetes Action Plan and Report, and Arizona State Hospital Fiscal Year Annual Report.

The portal features an easy-to-use interface equipped with various tools designed to help users locate and utilize needed data efficiently. It consolidates reports, catalogs, maps, dashboards, and search tools into one location. This is intended to assist Arizonans in understanding and comparing health-related information within the state to make informed healthcare choices.

“The Public Health Data Portal is a major step forward in our efforts to make data more accessible and transparent,” said Wesley Kortuem, ADHS Analytics Section Lead. “We believe that this portal will be a valuable resource for anyone who wants to learn more about public health in Arizona.”

The Public Health Data Portal is currently accessible at https://data.azdhs.gov/. Additional details can be found on the ADHS website or by contacting [email protected].
